What is an e-book?
An e-book is a work offered in electronic form rather than exclusively on paper.
Depending on its format, it can be viewed on a computer, tablet, or phone.
Digital books can take many forms: novels, poetry collections, how-to guides, educational books, manuals, and other content intended for reading or learning.
They offer another way to discover books and allow creators to offer their works to readers located in different countries.

What are the advantages of digital books?
Access books from different devices
A compatible digital book can be viewed on a computer, tablet, or phone.
This allows you to discover content in different contexts, provided you have the necessary device and software.
Discover works without searching for a physical copy
The digital format allows access to certain works without having to receive a printed book.
This can be particularly useful when you live far from the author or a bookstore that carries the book you are looking for.
Learn at your own pace
Educational ebooks and guides can help you delve deeper into a subject according to your needs and pace.
You can choose content tailored to your objective: acquiring a skill, understanding a concept, or discovering a new field.
Exploring Haitian creativity
Digital books allow Haitian authors to present their works to an audience that transcends geographical boundaries.
They thus offer an additional opportunity to promote the literature and knowledge produced in Haiti.
Read online or download: what’s the difference?
Not all digital books offer the same access method.
Books to read online
Some books are designed to be read directly on a platform. Depending on the service used, this method may eliminate the need to download the book file to your device.
On Nexah, consult the information for each product to check if online reading is offered.
Books to download
Other digital products may be offered in the form of downloadable files, for example PDFs.
Once downloaded, these files can be viewed with a compatible application.
Before buying an ebook, always check the format and access method indicated on its product page.
